How to Receive Training and Technical Assistance Through the OJJDP Formula Grants Program
To receive training and technical assistance from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) through the National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC), OJJDP’s training & technical assistance contractor, States, units of local government, or other requesting organizations should follow this procedure:
- Submit a completed Formula Grant Training & Technical Assistance Request Form to your State Juvenile Justice Specialist at least 75 days prior to the desired training or technical assistance date. Click here to find the name and address of your State Juvenile Justice Specialist (in PDF format.)
- Upon approval, the State Juvenile Justice Specialist will submit the completed Formula Grants Training & Technical Assistance Request Form to the appropriate OJJDP State Representative at least 75 days prior to the desired training or technical assistance date.
- After receiving OJJDP approval, DSG will contact the State Juvenile Justice Specialist and the requesting organization to arrange for the training or technical assistance.
- State Juvenile Justice Specialists are asked to confirm the attendance of participating organizations at least 21 days before the scheduled training or technical assistance date.
